Job summary

Commercial Metals in Orlando is seeking a production team member to help maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and support efficient manufacturing operations. You may operate machinery, assist in recycling processes, and contribute to a safe work environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in recycling/manufacturing is a plus, with comprehensive training provided to ensure safe, productive performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Experience in recycling and/or manufacturing is preferred.
• Prior forklift/loader equipment knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Operate production equipment per established procedures.
• Participate in CMC safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

What You’ll Do

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
