Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Base Pilot Supervisor to oversee Base Line Pilots and ensure operations comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and the company’s operations manual. The BPS will partner with the Program Director to maintain safe, efficient base operations and flight planning resources.

The role focuses on leadership, training, scheduling, preflight, weather monitoring and payroll coordination for base pilots, with a demanding 7/7 schedule and housing provided at all locations.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time.
• 1500 hours helicopter time.
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command.
• 500 hours turbine.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot duty schedules.
• Coordinates flight planning activities and resources for mission support.
• Conducts local area orientations for new hires.
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events.
• Reviews and submits pilots' monthly flight/duty logs on time.
• Monitors pilots at the base and assists in day-to-day management.
• Submits payroll grids to Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Operates aircraft safely with emphasis on Rotorcraft Flight Manual compliance.
• Monitors forecast changes and weather situations.
• Conducts preflight and notes discrepancies for maintenance.
