Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) at Fort Rucker, Alabama. In this role you will instruct student pilots to become military aviators, emphasizing safety and proficiency in rotorcraft training.

Experience with UH-72 or military aviation is not required; applicants must meet FAA/ICAO pilot and instructor qualifications and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must possess ICAO equivalent or FAA commercial pilot certificate and rotorcraft instructor certificate.
• Total flight time 1500 hours with PIC/PI credit per FAR 61.51.
• Must certify 100 hours hooded instrument/flight simulator instrument/weather time.
• Must have instructed students in instrument flight training.
• Night Flying - 75 hours.
• Instructor Time - 500 hours.
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Instructors teach, coach, and mentor student pilots to prepare for military aviation roles.
• Maintain safety as a core principle in rotary wing training.
