Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport and support for emergency medical teams. You will combine aviation expertise with clinical coordination to ensure safe missions and patient care.

You will operate under FAA rules, plan flights, and work with medical staff, dispatch, and ground crews while maintaining logs and compliance. A strong focus on safety, leadership, and situational awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• FAA commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating or ATP.
• 2,500 hours total flight time in a helicopter; 100 hours cross-country.
• 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours.
• Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights, considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
• Responds to emergency callouts and maintains readiness.
• Maintains accurate flight and maintenance logs as required by company and FAA.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with patients, families, and the public.
