Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving patient transport. You will operate rotor-wing aircraft, plan flights, and coordinate with medical teams to ensure safe, efficient missions while upholding FAA and company standards.

You must hold FAA rotor-wing qualifications with PIC capabilities, possess required medical certs, and meet flight-hour benchmarks. The role includes a 7x7 schedule, competitive pay, 401(k) matching, housing, and a $12,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• FAA certifications required: Commercial with Instrument Rating or ATP, with appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 hours total flight time in a helicopter; 100 hours cross-country (25 at night); 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours.
• Pass a 135.293 check ride within the first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regs, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight/balance, and fuel needs.
• Coordinate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
