Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc seeks an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid life-saving transport with FAA-compliant operations and strong teamwork. The role requires helicopter flight experience, instrument rating, and high safety standards.

You will plan flights, coordinate with medical staff and dispatch, and respond to emergencies while maintaining detailed logs. A $12,000 sign-on bonus and a robust benefits package accompany the competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• FAA certifications required: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• Flight experience: 2,500 hours total helicopter time; 100 hours cross-country with 25 hours at night; 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours.
• Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights, accounting for weather, weight and balance, and fuel requirements.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless mission execution.
• Responds promptly to emergency callouts, maintaining readiness at all times.
• Maintains accurate flight and maintenance logs per company and FAA requirements.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with patients, families, and the public.
