Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport while ensuring crew and patient safety. You will blend advanced aviation skills with clinical coordination, supporting EMS missions with professionalism and focus.

The role requires FAA certificates and substantial heli time; you will operate under FAA and company procedures and interact closely with medical teams and dispatch during missions.

Qualifications

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP required.
• FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 total helicopter hours; 100 cross-country (25 at night); 75 actual/simulated instrument hours; 100 night hours.
• Must pass 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regs, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plan and execute flights, considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission success.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and stay ready.
• Maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs per FAA and company requirements.
• Represent the company professionally with patients and families.
