Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own RM1/RM2 lean line processes, bridging industrialization to production with strong troubleshooting. You will lead immediate fixes and drive long-term improvements in OEE, cycle times, and costs while mentoring machinists on new processes and equipment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, lean project execution, and safety adherence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial) from an accredited university.
• OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality, lean, or equivalent roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize line processes for RM1 and RM2 post-handover; provide first line engineering support.
• Identify and execute projects to increase OEE, reduce cycle times, and optimize cost using Lean methods.
• Mentor production teams; support onboarding and training of machinists on new processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Industrialization on line-level budgets.
• Partner with vendors to drive technical improvements and cost targets.
• Champion a Safety First culture and ensure changes improve Life Saving Rules.
