Job summary

GE HealthCare in Warrensville Heights, OH seeks a Manufacturing Specialist to develop and optimize precision machining processes for tight-tolerance components. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on machining progression.
• 5–10 years in precision machining or process engineering.
• Expertise in tight-tolerance machining, CNC programming, fixturing, and process development.
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and process controls.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and quality systems (NC, CAPA).
• Ability to communicate technical info clearly with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of machining processes for precision components.
• Act as technical liaison with customers on readiness, new products, and quality issues.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality and operations to translate requirements into robust processes.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for machining, tooling, and process efficiency.
• Develop CNC strategies including turning, milling, grinding, and wire EDM.
• Design fixturing and work-holding to improve repeatability and throughput.
• Analyze performance data to reduce variation and improve capability.
• Drive Lean initiatives for waste reduction and quality improvement.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process docs, standard work, and manufacturing records.
• Mentor machinists and operators on best practices.
