Job summary

Dow is hiring an Equipment Care Operator in Carrollton, KY. You will operate assigned plant equipment, monitor processes, and respond to unplanned events while maintaining safety and discipline.

This role includes mentoring newer operators, supporting training goals, and performing autonomous maintenance within the operating discipline. A rotating shift and overtime may be required, and TWIC eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with one or more of the following: Associate degree in Applied Science or 2+ years industrial manufacturing experience or 3+ years military experience
• Proficiency in computers to perform job tasks
• Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts; TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned equipment or areas of the Plant.
• Monitors process conditions and key performance metrics to maintain plant goals.
• Performs scheduled operational tasks and resolves unplanned events.
• Mentors and trains less experienced operators in process operation and driving improvements.
• Maintains qualification in assigned areas and supports training goals.
• Performs autonomous maintenance and participates in root cause investigations as needed.
