Job summary

Dow is seeking a Junior Operator in Kendallville, IN to operate and monitor plant equipment during assigned shifts. Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• Must be willing to drive a forklift.
• Must be willing and able to accommodate off-shift work schedule (3 PM–11 PM or 11 PM–7 AM).
• U.S. based position; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment and perform field checks on process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, KPIs, and control systems to maintain target rates.
• Perform scheduled operational tasks and address unplanned events with the shift team.
• Mentor and train new and existing operators on process operation and discipline.
• Conduct or participate in preliminary investigations and root cause analyses as needed.
• Maintain qualification in assigned areas and complete training on schedule.
• Engage in autonomous maintenance and minor repairs per policy.
