Job summary

Dow is seeking a Plant Operator in the United States to operate and monitor process equipment in a high‑safety, quality‑driven environment. You will work with shift teams to ensure reliable plant performance and timely response to process deviations, while maintaining disciplined operating procedures.

You will train newer operators, participate in root-cause investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement through data‑driven decisions and proactive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree or higher in applied science or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of relevant military experience.
• Proficiency with computers to perform job tasks.
• Ability to work overtime and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process equipment to meet production goals.
• Follow operating discipline and safety policies for reliable plant operation.
• Monitor process conditions and KPIs; adjust as needed.
• Perform and assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Mentor and train less experienced operators; participate in investigations.
