Cabot Corporation is seeking a skilled Chemical Process Operator to manage production using DCS, monitor equipment, and uphold safety standards at our Kentucky facility. You will perform set-up procedures, troubleshoot process deviations, and assist in packaging and material handling while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Strong reading of operating instructions, attention to detail and the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Sciences).
• Chemical Process Technology degree or certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of chemical operation experience required.

Responsabilités

• Controls chemical process and operates related equipment using DCS.
• Adjusts controls to regulate variables for production units.
• Monitors and troubleshoots the process to maintain operating conditions.
• Performs minor maintenance on process.
• May enter work orders and requisitions in the business system.
• Assists in packaging product and loading/unloading materials.
• Participates in safety meetings and completes safety training.
• May provide training to operators in training.
