DNV Energy Systems North America seeks a Rotating Machinery Senior Engineer SME to support advisory services in M&A, IE, and OE. The role covers both thermal and wind assets, requiring deep practical experience, fault analysis, and reliability-driven insights for investors and developers.

The position is based in North America with a hybrid schedule; travel up to 20% may be required. A strong engineering background and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical preferred.
• Experience in rotating equipment across wind and thermal assets.
• Strong skills in RCA and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as rotating machinery SME for advisory engagements (thermal priority and wind).
• Lead evaluations of gas/steam turbines and wind drivetrain systems.
• Assess asset condition using data, maintenance history, and failure trends.
• Support technical due diligence and owner’s engineering tasks with rigorous analysis.
• Perform RCA for rotating equipment failures and translate findings into actionable insights.
