Job summary

Monroe Energy seeks a Machine Shop Supervisor to lead rotating equipment repairs in our on-site shop and refinery units. You will oversee union and non-union mechanics, contractors, and the tool room, coordinating with Maintenance Planning and Reliability Engineering to craft and execute repair plans for pumps, turbines, motors, fans, and related equipment.

Minimum 5–8 years of supervisory experience in repairing complex rotating equipment in refining or petrochemical settings; High School

Qualifications

5–8 years of supervisory experience repairing complex rotating equipment in high-risk industries such as refining, petrochemical or chemical processing.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; proficiency with CMMS, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Organizes, prioritizes, executes, and documents shop repairs for rotating equipment including pumps, turbines, motors and fans.
Oversees union and non-union mechanics, contractors, and tool room staff to ensure safe, cost-effective work.
Collaborates with Maintenance Planning and Reliability Engineering to develop and execute repair plans.
Ensures compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
