Job summary

Shell Monaca is seeking a Production Operator to safely and reliably operate plant equipment around the clock. You will monitor, start, stop, and troubleshoot processes while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

You will qualify on multiple jobs, maintain data records, and support shift turnover with clear communications. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a challenging

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than the current employer.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently and understand operating procedures.
• Willing to complete Shell’s pre-employment testing battery and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment 24/7 to ensure safe, reliable production.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operating policies; take corrective actions as needed.
• Record operating data accurately and communicate shift handovers effectively.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine checks, and assist with maintenance planning as required.
• Join a high-performance shift team and train new operators as they come on board.
