Job summary

Par Health is seeking a team member to operate and monitor a chemical manufacturing process producing bulk organic chemicals. The role requires adherence to PSM and OSHA, safe operation, and accurate documentation.

Workers follow a 12-hour rotating shift: four nights, three days off, three days, one off, three nights, three days, four days, seven days off. You will handle equipment like reactors, decanters, filters, and centrifuges, prepare samples, log data, and maintain clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Previous PSM manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions and communicate in both verbal and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor reactors, decanters, filters, process columns, tanks, centrifuges, dryers, and other equipment via manual operations, panel boards, indicators, PLC displays, and DCS screens.
• Packages, weighs, samples, and labels finished and intermediate products following procedures and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintains detailed operating reports and logs with weights, volumes, temperatures, pH, pressures, and flow rates.
• Delivers samples to laboratory and retrieves operating supplies from storeroom.
• Cleans and maintains work area, process equipment, tools and safety supplies according to regulatory and company standards.
• Operates hoists and other material handling devices to move bulk materials to and from pick-up points.
