Job summary

LyondellBasell, a leader in the chemical industry, is hiring a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant equipment, troubleshoot processes, and document operating data. The role emphasizes safety, reliable production, and communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months experience in production/manufacturing; mechanically inclined preferred.
• Able to read, interpret documents and follow procedures.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 55 lbs and operate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant process equipment to maximize unit reliability and quality production.
• Document operating parameters and communicate with team and supervisors.
• Perform changeovers, assemble/disassemble and clean machinery.
• Follow safety, LOTO procedures and perform QC tests and record data.
