Job summary

Shell Monaca Plant in Pennsylvania is seeking a Production Operator to safely operate and monitor plant equipment around the clock. You will manage start/stop sequences, perform routine checks, and uphold ESP/RCM/ME processes to ensure safety and reliability.

Key requirements include at least 2 years of relevant experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. You will work rotating 12-hour shifts and participate in training and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Current, valid motor vehicle license in the United States
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently and understand operating procedures
• Willing to complete pre-employment testing battery
• Willing to support drug-free workplace policy including background checks
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs with or without accommodation
• Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather and in confined spaces
• Willing to respond to emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team
• Must reside within 60 minutes of the site or be willing to relocate within 60 minutes

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assets 24/7 to safely and reliably run the plant
• Start and stop equipment (furnaces, pumps, compressors) and perform unit operations
• Follow safety, environmental, and operating policies; document data and report issues
• Maintain shift handovers with clear written and oral communication
• Engage in training and participate in emergency response when needed
• Meet production targets and ensure product quality through checks and analyses
