Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Helicopter QA Inspector to monitor safety and quality across maintenance and flight operations. The role involves evaluating flightline activities, auditing work centers, and ensuring documentation accuracy in MIS inputs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in rotary-wing maintenance, extensive inspection experience, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance and flightline license for US operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations on rotary-winged aircraft.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft maintenance, inspection techniques, FAA regulations, and Air Force technical publications.
• FAA A&P certificate is highly desired.
• Must be able to obtain secret clearance and flightline driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and quality programs to ensure contract compliance and quality standards.
• Evaluate flightline and back shop maintenance tasks and inspections for conformance and proper documentation.
• Briefs and debriefs pilots and crewmembers on functional check flights.
• Perform audits and inspections of work centers, procedures, equipment and facilities; review MIS inputs.
• Enter inspection and evaluation reports into QA databases and identify trends for corrective action.
