Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Aircraft Engine Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections with QA certification. You will use rotor balance machines, calipers, micrometers and related equipment to inspect disassembled engines and assemblies, while auditing maintenance and validating directives.

We require 5+ years in aviation or engine overhaul, MS Office proficiency (Excel), and eligibility for a US security clearance. A&P license and Adour F405 experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in general aviation or aircraft field
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance (US citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Participate in managed QA programs and processes identified in CNAFINST 4790.2 and the Quality System Plan.
• Perform audits and monitor for process compliance.
• Read and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specs to verify conformity.
• Conduct in-process inspections on engines and components against publications, SBs or directives.
• Review technical manuals and instructions for content and applicability.
• Initiate and track discrepancy reports through JDRS.
• Manage technical document library program.
