Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Helicopter QA Inspector to oversee safety and quality programs, evaluate maintenance tasks, and ensure documentation accuracy. The role requires extensive rotary-wing experience, FAA regulation knowledge, and the ability to work with MIS and AFI procedures.

Responsibilities include briefing pilots, auditing maintenance actions, and supervising external contractors. A secret clearance and TODA training are required, with multiple shift availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years of rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience.
• Broad knowledge of FAA regulations and Air Force technical publications.
• Must pass TODA training IAW 00-5-series within probation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance and flightline driver license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and quality programs to ensure contract compliance.
• Evaluate flightline and back shop maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Brief and debrief pilots and crewmembers after functional check flights.
• Enter inspection and evaluation reports into the QA database.
• Oversee third-party contractors performing aircraft maintenance.
