Heli Preflight is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure all work on aircraft and components complies with Repair Station, manufacturer and FAR requirements. The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires hands-on inspection, documentation, and adherence to airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities include completing FAA forms, conducting various inspections, record-keeping, weight and balance, and coordination with the Repair Station.

Formación

• Hold an Airframe and Powerplant license.
• IA-FAA certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer maintenance manuals, FAR, and operator/maintenance manuals.
• Minimum four years on rotorcraft.
• Experience with Bell, Airbus, and Leonardo Helicopters.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must read and write English.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure proper execution of FAA forms for major repair or major alteration.
• Confirm inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that inspection records and reports are correctly completed prior to returning the product to service.
• Ensure maintenance follows industry standards, FAA regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and operator manuals for certification and serviceability.
• Assist in Repair Station training and Training Records.
• Perform aircraft area and panel closeouts.
• Execute FAA Form 337, 8130-10, and 8110 correctly.
• Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles processed by the Repair Station.
• Tag and identify parts and components per Repair Station/Quality manual and disposition rejected parts.
• Verify incoming/outgoing aircraft records are complete and accurate.
• Perform weight and balance computations.
• Obtain STC or Field approvals when needed.
• Review work orders.
