Job summary

Amentum seeks a Helicopter QA Inspector to monitor safety and quality programs ensuring compliance with contract specifications. You will evaluate flightline and back shop maintenance, inspect discrepancies, and maintain MIS inputs.

You’ll brief crews on functional check flights and supervise third-party maintenance when required. The role requires eight years of rotary-wing maintenance experience, knowledge of FAA regulations, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years of rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and Air Force technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and quality programs for contract compliance.
• Inspect and verify maintenance tasks and documentation.
• Brief/debrief pilots and crew on functional check flights.
• Enter inspection reports into QA database.
• Oversee third-party maintenance contractors as required.
• Work various shifts including night/weekends as needed.
