Responsibilities

• Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting guests and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with team members to serve items meeting guests' expectations.
• Communicate any allergies or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff.
• Provide attentive service, refill drinks as needed, and check guest needs during meals.
• Pre-bus tables and maintain clean, properly set dining areas.
• Deliver, collect, and process all server checks promptly.
• Maintain POS materials and table tents in clean, proper order.
• Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Follow Nugget policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions to Security and Management immediately.
• Maintain a positive, professional Nugget image in duties and interactions.
• Regular predictable attendance is required.

FUNCTION:

Responsible for providing an excellent guest experience by taking food and drink orders in a timely and efficient manner. Offer menu suggestions and deliver a quality product every service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
• Guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of our food and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations.
• Communicate any food allergies or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff.
• Provide attentive service to diners, refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during the meal.
• Perform some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen, and in the dining area.
• Introduce “breaker” server by name when applicable.
• Pre-bus tables removing all items not necessary for the next course.
• Deliver collect and process all server opened guest checks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Keep table tents and POS materials clean and properly set.
• Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
• Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate.
• Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
• Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
• Regular predictable attendance is required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 21 years of age.

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

LANGUAGE:

Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high-volume restaurant required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

Alcohol Awareness Certification within the first 30 days required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.

Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.

Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
