Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Rep for Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) in Milwaukee, WI. You will drive profitable revenue in your territory and be the single point of contact for ROS products and services.

You will educate customers, coordinate ROS responses for contingencies, and train internal teams. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in technical rental sales, and travel willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of technical rental sales experience in portable restroom, restroom trailer or related business.
• Working knowledge of ROS products and applications and how they are used in the rental market.
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of ROS site services products, technical knowledge and effective selling practices.
• Target specific customers and vertical opportunities (e.g., Power, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Infrastructure).
• Ride along with other business unit sales reps to educate and seek revenue opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and other CRM tools to develop a pipeline of opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate ROS response for disaster contingency plans in the assigned geography.
