Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is seeking a Welder II to plan, position and weld components for roll over/fall over protective structures and specialized weldments. You will work from blueprints, perform full-penetration welds with backing material, and ensure production within safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include layout, fixture setup, inspection of finished work, and maintenance of equipment per drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Welding procedure knowledge and qualification requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Adherence to safety practices and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces a product to customer quality standards in a safe and efficient manner.
• Receives and reviews instructions, prints, and work order for the job.
• Lays out, positions, bolts, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure into position within fixture for welding.
• Sets up and makes adjustments to equipment and parts per blueprints.
• Performs welding responsibilities on product outlined in Blueprints; OPI's, Quality Manual, or any additional performance guidelines.
• Grinds excess weld, sharp corners, or sharp protrusions using a portable pneumatic grinder.
• Makes periodic quality checks as required and inspects finished product for completeness.
• Other duties as assigned
