Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is seeking a Welder 3 to join the Manual Weld team. You will plan, position, and weld components for roll over/fall over protective structures and related weldments, following high-penetration and sheet metal welding standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of weld experience, 6GR certification, and the ability to read blueprints and perform quality checks while mentoring newer welders. Shifts vary and promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and completion of weld training programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols and follow work orders.
• Maintains safety practices and quality standards in welding.

Responsibilities

• Produces welds meeting customer quality standards safely and efficiently.
• Reads blueprints, lays out parts, clamps, and positions for welding.
• Sets up equipment and makes adjustments per blueprints and guidelines.
• Performs welding on product per official procedures and manuals.
• Grinds excess welds and inspects finished parts for completeness.
• Mentors new welders and assists in training and cert tracking.
• Supports ongoing weld procedure improvements for safety and quality.
• Performs monthly recertification tracking with weld trainer.
