Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate and weld components for roll over and fall over protective structures, and related weldments. The role focuses on sheet metal welds and full-penetration welds with backing material as required by the blueprints and quality manuals.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, complete Crenlo weld training, and hold AWS/ANSI welding certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Crenlo Engineered Cabs weld training program required.
• Crenlo basic safety training required.
• 1–2 years welding experience preferred.
• Welding certification to AWS/ANSI standards required.

Responsibilities

• Produces a quality weldment to customer standards in a safe, efficient manner.
• Reviews instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
• Sets up, positions, clamps, and tack-welds parts within fixtures for welding.
• Reads blueprints and weld symbols; adjusts equipment per blueprints.
• Performs welds including full-penetration with backing material as specified.
• Grinds excess welds and sharp edges to meet specs.
• Conducts periodic quality checks and inspects finished products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
