Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management’s Hoodoo Moab is seeking a Rooms Division Manager to lead front office and housekeeping operations, ensuring a welcoming guest journey and high cleanliness standards.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop associates, monitor occupancy, staffing, and budgets, while collaborating with Sales, Maintenance, and F&B to deliver a seamless guest experience. A strong leader with service excellence and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible hotel operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel rooms operations and guest journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for rooms division operations to deliver a welcoming guest experience.
• Support Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure cleanliness, service, and standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop associates with accountability and teamwork.
• Maintain visible presence and engage with guests and associates.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement solutions to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support budgets, labor expectations, productivity, and operating expenses.
• Review staffing and scheduling to maintain appropriate coverage.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, policies, safety, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Maintenance, F&B, and other departments for seamless guest experiences.
• Address guest concerns professionally and empower associates to resolve issues.
