Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring for Club Wyndham Kingsgate Resort in Williamsburg, VA. The Rooms Controller coordinates guest room inventory and serves as a liaison among Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering and Reservations.

We seek detail-oriented individuals with strong communication, cash handling, and computer skills; resort/ front desk experience preferred. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• High priority to customer service.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Proper cash handling procedures.
• Computer proficiency.
• Previous Front Desk / Resort experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the hotel's day-to-day guest room inventory.
• Liaise between Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering and Reservations regarding room status and distribution.
• Organize room moves, control occupancy days and supervise upgrades.
• Maintain high quality standards and follow safety protocols including OSHA and GHS.
• Manage Guest Room Inventory Distribution for the resort.
• Coordinate group handling and special requests with management.
• Ensure proper handling of special reservations and VIP rooms.
• Maintain a room pool for early arrivals and special requests.
• Coordinate room status with Housekeeping and Engineering.
• Communicate priority arrivals to relevant teams.
• Be knowledgeable about resort room types and occupancy trends.
