Job summary

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, CA, seeks an Rooms Assistant Manager to oversee areas within the Rooms Division, including front office, guest services, housekeeping, and reservations. Responsibilities include training, staff development and scheduling. Salary range: $67,200–$85,000.

• Resolve customer complaints and issues and represent our hotel brand in a professional manner

About The Role — Rooms Assistant Manager

The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Rooms Division. This can include the front office staff, guest services, housekeeping/laundry, and reservations. Duties may also include training, staff development and scheduling.

The salary range for this position is $67,200 – $85,000. This is the pay range for this position that Park Hyatt Aviara reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred
• Previous experiences in a luxury resort preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Holidays and weekends
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
