Job summary

IHG Hotels is hiring for a hospitality role focused on delivering food and beverage orders and VIP amenities. You will ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive service, maintaining sanitation, and following Banquet Event Orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical tasks
• Able to read, write and perform basic math
• Able to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
• Comply with local food handling and alcohol-service laws; be of legal age and fluent in local language

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per property guidelines
• Provide guests with exceptional service to achieve satisfaction
• Conduct floor sweeps and collect all trays to maintain sanitation standards
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities
• Service hospitality suites according to Banquet Event Orders
• Complete shift side work as per operating policies
• Respond to guest needs and report to supervisor
• Handle cash following company policies

Job Details:

Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with property's established guidelines, procedures and policies.

Provides guests with exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.

Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.

Service all hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedure.

Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel's operating policies and procedures.

Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report all communication to immediate shift supervisor.

Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What we need from you

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling


• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math


• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts


• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol - you'll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language


• Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to

The hourly pay rate for this role is $7.25 + gratuity
