Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences across food and beverage service. You will set up and deliver orders, greet guests warmly, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout shifts.

The role supports VIP amenities and banquet events with strict adherence to policies and safety standards. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work nights/weekends/holidays, and comply with applicable food-handling laws.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (23 kg) and perform bending/kneeling.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; fluency in local language.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per guidelines.
• Provide guests with exceptional service to drive satisfaction.
• Conduct floor sweeps and collect all food/beverage trays for sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites per Banquet Event Orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work as per operating policies.
• Respond to guests' needs and issues to ensure quality experiences and report to supervisor.
• Handle cash transactions per company policies.

Job Details:

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with property’s established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Provides guests with exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.
• Service all hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedure.
• Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report all communication to immediate shift supervisor.
• Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What we need from you

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to

The hourly pay rate for this role is $7.25 + gratuity
