Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Room Service Server to join our Food & Beverage team in downtown Dallas. You will deliver orders to guest rooms and outlets, take IRD orders, and provide high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Previous serving or food-running experience is preferred, with flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays. You will work across In-Room Dining and outlet operations, upholding Hyatt brand standards and delivering an elevated guest

• Prior serving or food-running experience preferred; hotel experience a plus.
• Refined verbal communication skills for guest and internal teams.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderate weight and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Take and enter guest food and beverage orders for In-Room Dining using hotel systems.
• Deliver food and beverage items to guest rooms, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Run food between kitchen and outlets with urgency and care.
• Maintain tray, cart, table, and room setup standards according to hotel guidelines.
• Provide clear, courteous communication with culinary, service teams, and guests.
• Assist with side work, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining service areas.

The Room Service Server supports both In-Room Dining and outlet food running operations. This role delivers food and beverage orders to guest rooms and designated outlets, takes IRD orders, and provides consistent, high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to provide an elevated guest experience regardless of location. This role is cross-trained and scheduled across both functions based on business needs.

• Take and enter guest food and beverage orders for In-Room Dining using hotel systems.
• Deliver food and beverage items to guest rooms, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Run food between kitchen and outlets with a sense of urgency and care.
• Maintain tray, cart, table, and room setup standards according to hotel guidelines.
• Provide clear, courteous, and efficient communication with culinary, service teams, and guests.
• Assist with side work, restocking, polishing, cleaning, and maintaining all service areas.
• Handle payment transactions and follow proper cash-handling/charge procedures when applicable.
• Ensure all items are delivered promptly, safely, and in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Support additional F&B operational needs as assigned, including expo, staging, and light hosting tasks.
• Uphold Hyatt brand standards and guest service expectations at all times.
