Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Houston is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms and hotel spaces, ensuring cleanliness and guest comfort. You will refresh rooms, restock supplies, and maintain public areas to create welcoming experiences.

The role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned hotel areas according to brand standards and procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies while ensuring rooms are refreshed, organized, and guest-ready.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational readiness throughout shifts.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly and accurately.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and housekeeping service needs throughout the day.
• Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling procedures, hotel safety policies, and operational guidelines at all times.
• Support deep cleaning projects, room inspections, VIP arrivals, and special housekeeping assignments as needed.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
