THE PIG Hotel in the Cotswolds is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The role focuses on cleaning bedrooms and public areas to the high standards guests expect, with attention to detail and a pride in guest experience.

This part-time position offers 20 hours across 3 days, no prior experience required, and opportunities for holiday accrual and staff perks including free breaks, discounts, meals on duty, and access to wellbeing services.

• Self-motivated and well organized in a housekeeping role.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and public areas to the required standard.
• Ensure rooms and spaces are ready for guests and meet quality expectations.

Job description

Location: THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, Barnsley, GL7 5EE

Salary: OTE £14.10 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: 20 hours per week, over 3 days (inclusive of weekends with early starts).

We are currently looking for a Room Attendant to join our dedicated housekeeping team.

Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will take responsibility for ensuring that our rooms and public areas are cleaned to the required standard and are ready for our guests. You will have good attention to detail whilst being self-motivated and organised.

No experience is required, just the willingness to learn and a strong work ethic, taking pride in a job well done.
