Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Seattle, WA is seeking a Room Attendant with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for providing memorable guest experiences. You will ensure every guest room is pristine and welcoming, from bed linens to bathroom amenities, and assist guests with basic needs as needed.

You’ll be on your feet most of the day in a fast-paced environment, with lifts up to 50 pounds and occasional bending or kneeling.

Qualifications

• It’s a physical role with you on your feet most of the day; fitness is important.
• Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects.
• Literacy skills – reading, writing and basic math.
• Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests.
• Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
• Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
• Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimize waste
• Reuniting guests with any lost or misplaced items
• Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

Your Day-to-Day:

• Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
• Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
• Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
• Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimize waste
• Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items
• Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

What We Need from You:
