Stateside Live! AVA Rooftop Bar is hiring a VIP Server to greet guests, take orders, and serve cocktails with a focus on upselling and guest satisfaction. You will work in a refined open-air rooftop setting with skyline views, providing prompt, professional service and coordinating with bartenders and kitchen staff.

The role requires energy, reliability, and exceptional guest interaction skills in a fast-paced environment, with shifts potentially including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Experience in fast-paced food and beverage venues.
• Ability to upsell and provide high-quality guest service.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers, wines, and garnishments is preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform shift-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Serve cocktails and menu items; upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff; use POS system accurately.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol service per guidelines.
• Perform side work and ensure accurate cash handling and payments.
