Job summary

AVA is a rooftop venue seeking energetic hospitality professionals to join our service team. As a Server, you will greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and deliver cocktails and menu items with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, leveraging knowledge of liquor brands and menu items while communicating clearly with guests and kitchen staff. Prior serving experience and English fluency are preferred; availability includes nights and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, and garnishments.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Alcohol awareness certification or food handler/card as required by local regulations.
• Reading/writing abilities for taking orders and paperwork.
• Basic math for handling cash and payments.
• May require nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly.
• Serve cocktails and menu items; upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with guests, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Monitor alcohol service and ensure age checks are performed.
• Complete side work and accurately account for sales/payments.
• Coordinate with team to ensure smooth service.
