Job summary

SRS Building Products - Mentor is seeking a Rooftop Loader to load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks, and to assist with hand and conveyor loading onto rooftops, while following safety procedures and protecting customer property.

You will work closely with drivers, travel within the branch area as needed, and support overall branch operations. The role requires physical stamina, adherence to OSHA PPE guidelines, and reliable, safety‑minded teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly and work at heights.
• OSHA safety guidelines and PPE use required.
• Basic math and inventory counting skills.
• English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow safety guidelines, assemble scaffolding, and inspect equipment.
• Distribute materials onto roofs while protecting workers and property.
• Operate conveyor systems to move materials to rooftops where trained.
• Verify orders, maintain inventory records, and assist drivers as needed.
• Provide customer service to roofing contractors and respond to inquiries.
• Adhere to PPE use and OSHA regulations on all sites.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members for efficient loading/unloading.
• Assist safety assessments and help navigate tight spaces for deliveries.
