Job summary

SRS Building Products - Baltimore is seeking a material handler to load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks and transport them to rooftops. You will work outdoors on residential and commercial sites, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and fast, courteous service to roofing contractors.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift up to 100 lbs, and committed to OSHA standards. The role may involve overtime based on schedules and peak seasons, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Able to pass criminal and driving background checks, plus pre-employment drug test.
• English verbal and written communication required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members for efficient loading/unloading.
