Job summary

SRS Building Products - Waterford is seeking a Roofing Materials Handler to load and unload roofing materials at roof sites on rooftops in Waterford, MI. You will work outdoors, follow safety guidelines, and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery.

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, pass background and drug tests, and be eligible to work in the United States. Forklift certification is preferred; English proficiency is required, with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, plus pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights on roofs.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Operate safely on rooftops and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate material distribution onto flat and sloped roofs.
• Verify and reconcile material orders with drivers.
• Provide service to roofing contractors and maintain safety practices.
