Job summary

SRS Building Products - Wayne is seeking a dependable team member to load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks, transport them to rooftops, and assist in placement on residential and commercial sites.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality service. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, work outdoors on roofs, and pass background checks and a drug screen. English communication required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensuring that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Facilitate the safe and effective distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per company safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes.
