Job summary

QXO in Florida is seeking a full-time delivery loader to support unloading building products, including shingles, from rooftops and ground sites.

You will verify orders, assist with delivery operations, and maintain safety protocols while wearing PPE. The role requires access to reliable transportation and willingness to work at heights with provided fall protection. The schedule is Monday–Friday with 7am start and potential OT/weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at heights with provided fall protection equipment.
• Comfort unloading shingles and building products from elevated locations.
• Commitment to safety and following PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and shingles from rooftops or ground access.
• Verify order contents before loading to delivery trucks.
• Assist with delivery operations and ground drop support when rooftop delivery isn’t feasible.

What You'll Do

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 7am until work is done, around 3pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What You'll Bring

• Access 1- and 2-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations. Occasionally 3 story buildings
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations during slow periods as needed.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Attention to detail
• Strong commitment to learn and follow all safety procedures
• Passion for thriving in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting
