Job summary

QXO is seeking a physically demanding, full-time delivery/roof loader to safely unload building products from rooftop conveyors and assist with delivery operations. The role requires comfort with working at heights and the ability to lift 65–95+ lbs while outdoors in heat.

Applicants should be reliable with transportation access and willing to work Monday–Friday starting at 6am; Spanish is a plus. Safety PPE is provided and required throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

What you’re do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 6am until work is done, around 4:30pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Access one- and two-story rooftop buildings to stage materials at delivery locations.
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in the heat for extended periods throughout the day.
• Regularly lift and move materials weighing between 65 and 95+ lbs.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
