Job summary

QXO is seeking a reliable roof loader to safely unload building products and shingles from rooftop conveyors and trucks. You will verify orders, assist with loading and delivery operations, and adhere to all safety rules while using required PPE.

A willingness to work outdoors, at heights, and in variable weather is essential. The role supports warehouse operations during slower periods and requires reliable transportation to the branch.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working at heights and wearing PPE.
• Ability to verify orders and assist with loading/unloading.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.

What you'll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 6am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What you'll bring:

• Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations.
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations during slow periods as needed.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Attention to detail
• Strong commitment to learn and follow all safety procedures
• Passion for thriving in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting
