Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, expanding through technology and customer experience. This full-time loader position involves unloading shingles, supporting delivery operations, and ensuring safety on-site at branches in Florida.

Start times are early, with hours from 5:30am until work is done, and occasional OT/weekends may be required. The role requires comfort working at heights and outdoors in heat, with PPE provided.

What you’ll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 5:30am until work is done, around 5pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations.
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in the heat for extended periods throughout the day.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Attention to detail
• Strong commitment to learn and follow all safety procedures
• Passion for thriving in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting
