Job summary

QXO is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to unload building products, verify orders, and assist delivery operations from 6am until work is done, with possible OT and weekend shifts. This outdoor role serves the Leesburg, FL area and supports the branch’s daily logistics.

It requires comfort at heights, PPE adherence, and a willingness to learn safety protocols. Forklift experience is preferred; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Comfort working outdoors in heat and at heights with required PPE.
• Access rooftops to stage materials and assist with delivery operations.
• Reliable transportation to the branch location.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and bundles from rooftop delivery assets.
• Verify order contents prior to loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist with delivery operations and support warehouse tasks as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

What you'll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 6am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What you'll bring:

• Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations. Occasionally 3 story buildings
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• Forklift experience preferred
• This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in the heat for extended periods throughout the day.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus

• Strong commitment to learn and follow all safety procedures
