Job summary

TAMKO is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our San Antonio, Texas territory. This role sells roofing products to commercial and residential customers, coordinating with distributors and contractors to drive orders and grow market share.

You will travel within the territory, deliver product presentations, respond to inquiries, and build lasting customer relationships while meeting sales targets and ensuring high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or at least four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Required travel by air transportation in and out of assigned territory.
• Position requires overnight stays away from home.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial roofs.
• Teach customers and contractors proper installation of roofing materials.
• Conduct meetings and make presentations to groups.
• Write detailed reports and various types of business correspondence.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, or coordinate activities and services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet websites, and other sources.
